Welcome Message from Tim White

First I'd like to welcome everyone and thank Eddie McWhirter for all his hard work setting this site up. I hope that this site can serve as a tool for not only social purposes, but also as a forum for addressing observatory issues. As an international community, we are much stronger working together and have much to gain from the tremendous level of experience and expertise within our community. Please don't hesitate to "drop a line" whenever needed.

We have also posted many of the oral and a few of the posters presentations on our website, geomag.usgs.gov. We will keep these posted on our website for the foreseeable future.

A request for manuscripts has also been sent out to all workshop participants. As a reminder the submission deadline is October 1st, 2008.

At this point, only workshop participants have received an invite to post on this blog site. We can send additional invitations as needed for those who couldn't be at the workshop, but may wish to participate. For those interested in joining, please email emcwhirter@usgs.gov for an invitation.

Once again, I'd like to thank all of you for attending the workshop here in Golden. Based upon the evaluation forms, it was a tremendous success. It was certainly a pleasure for us to host all of you and we would like to thank IAGA for that opportunity.

13th IAGA Workshop photos

If you would like to share your photos from the workshop, you can post them or links to them on this site.

I have placed this photo and some others on a Flickr account here:
(Flickr accounts are free, and just use a yahoo! e-mail address - you can join the 13th IAGA Workshop group if you would like to add pictures to the pool there.)

I have the same content on a Picasa account if you're more comfortable with that interface:

I will keep this site updated with links to photos as they become available to me.
